OUR DEEP SORROW
It is with deep sorrow that we have learned of the passing of Atakan KIR, a student in the Department of Mathematical Engineering at our university’s Faculty of Chemistry and Metallurgy.
The funeral of our late student will take place today, October 30, 2026, following the noon prayer at the Sultangazi Hediye Hanım Mosque, after which he will be laid to rest at the Yeşil Yayla Cemetery.
We pray for God’s mercy upon the deceased and extend our deepest condolences and wishes for patience to his grieving family, relatives, friends, and all who loved him.
